Anger - Words from the Bible
Some more gems from the Work Manual:
Controlling your temper is better than being a hero who captures a city. (Proverbs 16:32)
Don’t be stupid and believe all you hear; be smart and know where you are headed. Only a stupid fool is never cautious— so be extra careful and stay out of trouble. Fools have quick tempers, and no-one likes you if you can’t be trusted. Stupidity leads to foolishness; be smart and learn. It’s smart to be patient, but it’s stupid to lose your temper. (Proverbs 14:15-18, 29)
Don’t get so angry that you sin. Don’t go to bed angry and don’t give the devil a chance. Stop being bitter and angry and mad at others. Don’t yell at one another or curse each other or ever be rude. Instead, be kind and merciful, and forgive others, just as God forgave you because of Christ. (Ephesians 4:26-27, 31-32)
A kind answer soothes angry feelings, but harsh words stir them up. (Proverbs 15:1)
