Champions are turbocharged by a word

If you have come to know that the Creator of the universe does know you and loves you, one of his promises can give you a turbocharge anywhere, anytime. If you’re still unsure, hang in there, he’s not going anywhere that you can’t call out to him at any time.

A great promise from the Work Manual is: ‘Christ gives me the strength to face anything’ (Philippians 4:13). I, Watto, champion son of the King, can do all things through Jesus the bloke who gives me the spine to do them. If you belong to the Big Fella, you can say that too, with your name in the space. How good is that?

This one instils worth in us without any fanfare, because we receive power from our Creator. This works for me. Hope it is good for you too, real-deal champion.

What are you naturally good at? Champion, why aren’t you doing it?

Are you still being held back because you don’t feel acceptable in your manhood? Have you ever had a fair-dinkum crack at it? Give a man a job that he’s happy with and he never has to work again. Do what you like, but like what you do.

Maybe you can take a hard knock playing footy but if someone called you a girl, you’d buckle. Do you go inwards and passive and turn on the mute button? Have you been emotionally bullied or abused?

Do you wonder if other blokes really accept you as OK? A good bloke? Do you ever feel like the bloke no-one picks in the team, always the last one to be chosen, as though no-one knows what to do with you?

Ever felt like you are nothing or a nobody? Not sure where you fit in today’s culture? Do you feel like I did in my first job – continually downcast? Can you win the heart of a woman? Can you clinch a deal?
